Supporting Genuine Conservation Efforts in Zimbabwe
Starting in mid-July 2008, Bryan Hugill, NRM Expert for SaafConsult BV, took over as the new Director for www.zimconservation.com, an online advocacy portal set up in response to the continued deterioration of Zimbabwe's rich wildlife and environmental heritage.
The website, currently completely voluntarily run, plays host to a series of conservation-related reports and news articles, as well as a mailing list catering to 250-plus concerned scientists, conservationists and citizens.
The website is presently undergoing re-development to allow it to better meet the needs of the conservation community both within Zimbabwe and beyond.
For more information and if you would like to assist in this vital effort in any way, please contact Bryan at bhugill@runbox.com. |
